Eggies

Eggies are the newest "As Seen On TV" product for preparing one of nature's most nutritious foods- the incredible EGG! Eggies' premise is simple - it's a hard boiled egg maker in the form of some Eggies holders. You place the Eggies holders into boiling water as you would hard-boiled eggs, and in minutes, you have perfect hard-boiled eggs.. all without breaking a shell (or a sweat, for that matter).

Quite seriously, this has to be one of the greatest kitchen gadgets we've seen in a while. It doesn't overpromise in its advertising - simply preparing good, old-fashioned morsels of protein goodness. Personally, I LOVE hard-boiled eggs in tuna sandwiches, salads, or just because. However, preparing them has always been a challenge. There's always the question of "did I cook it enough?" or.. "did I cook it too much?" Eggies solves both issues in one - you can see the doneness of each egg! No more opaque shell to complicate the issue. Plus, the cracking issue - I like as little as possible between me and my snacks, so the shell just gets in the way. It's another one of the finer points of making hard-boiled eggs, peeling the shell is. Eggies solves that! Eggies have one more super bonus feature - they cook flat on the bottom. This makes them easier to serve, easier to slice, and not to mention make them look like little Eggie igloos! We love Eggies cookers, and think you will too!

We've heard strong anecdotal evidence that Eggies do work as promised! They suggest you keep the lids very tightly screwed to prevent egg leakage. All-in-all, we've heard that Eggies hard-boiled eggs taste just like the old-fashioned kind! Who knew? Ooh, and we forgot one more thing - Eggies are a great way to make mini omelets and egg snacks - simply drop in your favorite ingredients and toppings (ham and cheddar, anyone?) and you have a bite-sized morsel all your own!
